Publication ethics

While publishing an article it is important to follow the ethical standard. It is pertinent in today’s era of internet to strictly follow the publishing ethics. Publication ethics starts with the research ethics and so on.

Following ethical issues needs consideration while publishing:

Authorship: Authorship should be given to those who has contributed significantly. It must be limited to those who have made a noteworthy contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of data in a particular research study.

Redundant or concurrent publication: Publishing more than one manuscript(s)from a single study with overlapping data must be avoided. Similarly, publishing the same research in more than one journal doesn’t falls under right publication ethics.

Acknowledgement: Relevant acknowledgment is also important for any publication.

Conflicts of interest: All submissions must include disclosure that there is no conflict of interest among all the authors.

Errors in published works: If an author discovers a significant error in the published work, it is expected that the author will inform the journal for retraction or correction the paper.

Financial support, if any utilized during experimentation must be cited in the manuscript. Publishing more than one manuscript(s) from a single study with overlapping data must be avoided. Similarly, publishing the same research in more than one journal doesn’t falls under right publication ethics.

Copyright and Access

In order to publish and further disseminate articles of the journal, we need publishing rights.
